Mains Distribution Assembly
01/11/2023
At KES, we take immense pride in our bespoke products made in-house by our skilled team. This includes our Mains Distribution Assembly (MDA) which is made in our factory in Southampton. Our team created our MDA range using techniques like metalwork, unit assembling and wiring. KES craftsmanship at its finest!
Tailored to Your Specifications
We understand that every project has unique requirements, which is why each MDA is made in-house with stock available on our shelf with the option of bespoke additions. This means faster assembly times which allows for seamless customisation and the option of incorporating bespoke details without the hassle of extensive lead times.
A Solution for Every Project
Whether you're in need of a permanent installation for your factory or a temporary power distribution system for a construction site, KES has an MDA perfectly suited to your project. Our range of options ensures that you get a power supply solution tailored to your specific needs.
How to choose the right MDA?
The right MDA for your project depends on the level of circuit protection required — particularly the amount of power to be distributed and the number of outgoing circuits. We offer a variety of MDA options, including those with isolated switches (on/off), RCDs (residual current devices) to guard against earth leakage, and MCCBs (moulded case circuit breakers) to prevent excessive power draw from the circuit.
Customized Outgoing Power Options
We also offer a variety of outgoing power options through our pin assemblies. Choose from 4, 8 and 12 3-pin phase ways with mains breaker ratings ranging from 100A to 1600A to suit your specific power distribution needs.
Wall-Mounted or Free-Standing - Your Choice
Recognising that no two projects are the same, our MDAs come in a couple of different options for storage and access. Whether it's a permanent installation or a temporary setup, our MDAs are available in both wall-mounted and free-standing configurations to accommodate a range of installation scenarios.
We also offer single and double doors for customised access. We recommend a single door for smaller spaces or smaller distributors with small or fewer cables. Whereas larger / more cables are more suited to two doors. However, it all comes down to customer requirements.
